Broadband Census Taker (COMING SOON...ALL 1,527 U.S. CARRIERS) says:
I use Windstream, which was formally Alltel. Anyways, They offer 6mb down, and 384 kbps up, highest tier. I live in the city, and still cannot get the 6mb service, stuck with 3 Mb down. Actual speeds are more along the line of 2.5 Down though. Upload normally around 370 Kbps. The Latency is pretty big 70% of the time. Windstream has a stable connection, but when Verizon was in the area, there DSL service was far superior. And Windstream, doesn't seem big on infrastructure upgrades at all at least not anything that I have read on their website. They only seem to care about expanding and buying. It seems like the only time that they started upgrading speeds, was when charter raised their speeds. Really curious to see what happens when Docsis 3.0 comes out.

Nothing Great. They have a long ways to go. Huge laag on xboxlive and disconnects frequently when I use xboxlive.
