Gail (HUGHES COMMUNICATIONS, INC.) says:
We pay $59.99 per month for the poorest internet service there is. We are very lucky to get 200kbps, more often than not, around 112 down. There is dsl all around us, everyone around here has computers, but we still can't get dsl. The only reason we haven't went back to dial-up is because we paid $600.00 + for our satellite equipment, just so we could pay $63.00 a month for a "service" that is useless. I get so frustrated, I just turn the computer off. Satellite internet will keep ripping people off as long as we have no other options. I could understand if we lived where there is nothing near, but we live between 2 of the main routes for transportation, Rt.2 and Rt. 35 This is ridicules.
